POP CULTURE COVERAGE
It’s been a while since I wrote and published on-site content, but when I did (do?) it’s pop culture adjacent. Here are a few of my favorites
When to pee during Avengers: Endgame: We were the first to publish this often-imitated article ahead of the film’s release.
MCU timeline: How to watch ever Marvel movie and tv series in order: Again, this original piece was continuously iterated beginning over a decade ago. The first version(s) went viral and inspired many imitators, especially as the Marvel Cinematic Universe became the multiverse and continues to expand. Sadly, the Doctor Who version never had as much interest.
Highlighting the women behind the scenes of the Marvel universe [published in CNET Magazine, Spring 2019): They're directors, producers, costume designers. Six high-level executives and creative professionals at Marvel -- all women -- spoke to us about their challenges. They agree the culture in Hollywood is finally shifting, but all say progress is slow.
"When people awake to the beauty of collaborating with a range of viewpoints, perspectives, backgrounds, strengths and weaknesses, we realize we are all better off for it," says Sarah Finn, head of the Sarah Finn Company, casting director for every Marvel movie in the MCU, except The Incredible Hulk. "I think there's a greater openness now than there has ever been."
